Experts Speak on Innovative Marketing Practices that Breed Success in Any Economy

- The American Marketing Association, South Florida Chapter and the Association for Women in Communications announced their upcoming March General Membership meeting featuring innovation leaders in the marketing and communications industry.  “Innovative & Creative Marketing Practices That Breed Success,” will bring together representatives from International leader MTV/VH1 LA, Crispin, Porter & Bogusky, the top innovative advertising agency in the country featuring Burger King and Office Depot to speak on innovative marketing strategies that breed success in a good and down economy.  The event will be held on

March 11, 2009

from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Sheraton – Fort Lauderdale Airport Hotel where these experts will share their insights on innovative marketing ideas and answer questions from attendees.

Hosts SPORTS Marketing Forum on May 1

 

BOCA RATON, Fla.

BankAtlanticCenterSunrise-- The American Marketing Association (AMA) South Chapter will be hosting a sports marketing forum title “Sports Marketing Strategies that WIN” on Thursday, May 1 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bank Atlantic Center.  The focus of the panel discussion will be on how professional sports teams brand themselves and create a niche in their markets.

 

The night’s activities will begin at 6 p.m. with a networking social and silent auction in the Suite Level bar. The panel discussion will begin around 7:15 p.m. in the President’s Club and will include  top executives from all four of the South Florida professional sports teams – Michael McCullough, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the Miami Heat, Christopher Overholt, Vice President of Marketing Partnerships and New Media for the Miami Dolphins, David Samson, President of the Florida Marlins and the Michael Yormark, President of Sunrise Sports and Entertainment who own the Florida Panthers.
